Abstract

Volume 1: divided into 4 sections: General anatomy, Trunk, Upper limb, Lower extremity. Volume 2: Head, Eye, Ear, Neck, Brain and spinal cord. Volume 3: Internal organs: Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvis and retroperitoneal space. Booklet: 60 tables including 55 for the muscles and 5 for the cranial nerves. The muscles are forwarded each one with a diagram of localization, their origin, their termination and their function. In the 3 volumes, each body or area is described in an exhaustive way, with photographs, boards, terms to be retained and clinical indication. These two paragraphs make the work very attractive, by making a true encyclopedia. The work is addressed, of course, to all the medical community-from the student to the experienced expert-but will also interest, with its section of encyclopedic note, all the readers interested in the complexity of the human body. A true must for orthopaedic surgeons.
