Abstract
In this article, we attempt to construct a theoretical framework that supports the study of the inner dynamics inherent in the improvisation of instrumental popular music, especially regarding jazz and Brazilian popular instrumental music. Our considerations may provide conceptual support for an analysis of cases from a variety of technical-aesthetic realities, since we address the general elements and behaviors practiced in these situations. We reflect on the artistic object which is based on concepts derived from an interdisciplinary analytical model supported mainly by a systemic process.
