Abstract
This article deals with the analysis of different experiences that allowed the identification of areas of students, teachers and university intellectuals with Peronism between JC coup Onganía and H. Campora's government (1966-1973); takes the controversies to define the role of universities, intellectuals and social sciences in line with a broader revolutionary transformation. The will to change society was accompanied by the need to create a "new university" in the service of national interests, popular or socialist.
