Abstract

(Figure Presented) Wheels of steel: Two enantiomerically pure chiral {Fe28} wheel-like aggregates have been synthesized from the acetate buffer solution containing tartrate ligands (see picture). These compounds are the largest chiral ferric aggregates isolated to date. © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
