Abstract

This research tries to explain the effect of Ottoman mosques architecture on Mosul's mosques architecture which had been erected or restored during the Ottomans era. Some arguments and claims supposed that a direct effect emerged within this case .while the finding of this paper based on the analysis of a purposive sample of the study population indicates that this effect is too limited and the domestic identity of Mosul mosques architecture during this era still keeping its own character .
