An efficient RuIII/BINAP catalytic system for the aldol reactions of ketones with various aldehydes

Abstract

Synthesis of aldol adducts has been accomplished with moderate to excellent stereoselectivities using a RuIII/(S)-BINAP system at room temperature. Under ultrasound irradiation, the aldol products produced in a reasonably short time. © ARKAT USA, Inc.
