Abstract

Abstract Civetsareoneamongthe introducedmammalsin Islandsof Andaman and Nicobar. Masked or Himalayan Palm Civet ( Paguma larvata tytleri) and Large Indian Civet (Viverra zibetha) intheAndamanand Nicobar Islandsare known to use diverse habitats. However, this is the first documentation of the civets using the limestone caves in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
