Abstract
This article presents an educational strategy based on a simulation model as a tool to support teaching learning sequencing jobs in a configuration job shop production. The idea came as part of a breeding research scheme in simulation of production systems and services, using the instructional design learning method based on problem solving (Problem-solving-Based Learning PBL). In the computational design, in the discrete event simulation and in the communication design, a simple and user-friendly interface was used. This is based on human-computer interaction using spreadsheets. It is concluded that simulation helps in the space-time compression required in virtual learning environments.
