MODIFIKASI MODEL ADAPTASI DELONE & MCLEAN DALAM ANALISIS KUALITAS SISTEM INFORMASI AKADEMIK

Abstract

Educational institutions as organizations are required to use information and communication technology as part of the goals of the organization. The policy of educational institutions must be responded quickly by organizations to answer the challenges of educational institutions based on the industrial revolution 4.0, by improving the management of data and information delivery using information systems. Implementation of information systems in an organization can run successfully or fail. One reason behind the failure of the implementation of information systems is the user's dissatisfaction with the system that has been built. Evaluation of Academic Information Systems that have been applied to organizations needs to be done by searching for factors that affect the quality of Academic Information Systems. Evaluation of Academic Information Systems has never been done before, so evaluations are important so that the organization believes that the implementation of Academic Information Systems can meet organizational goals. This research uses an adaptation of the success model of DeLone and McLean information systems with some modifications to assess the quality of Academic Information Systems. Modification is done by removing the intention to use, service quality and append the user involvement to this model. The research was conducted by analyzing the results of questionnaires from 70 students who has used Academic Information Systems. Data analysis using Partial Least Square method with SMART PLS 2.0 M3. The results of this research prove that user satisfaction and user involvement are influenced by the quality of the system and the quality of information. User Involvement and User Satisfaction significantly influence net benefits. In general, users feel satisfied and benefit from the Academic Information System, however users need to improve the quality of the Academic Information System.
