Abstract
The abstract data structure no longer describes an object by its structure but characterizes it exclusively by the definition of the operations that can be executed on it. The data type is no longer based on a predefined object but merely describes a set of objects by their type definition. These abstract data types contribute to enhance the security of the interfaces between the program modules.
