The article is devoted to the results of archaeological work on the Oluz Hoyuk site in the northern part of Central Anatolia. The settlement existed from the early Bronze Age through the Hellenistic period. In the Middle Ages it was used as a necropolis. The settlement flourished in the Achaemenid age (construction periods 2b–2a). The excavations have provided rich material for the history of the material and spiritual culture of the region.
