SISTEM INFORMASI PEMASARAN RUMAH KOST BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

5 ABSTRAK Ketersediaan informasi yang sangat terbatas mengenai lokasi tempat kost menyebabkan masyarakat cenderung tidak memiliki informasi yang akurat dan relevan sehingga tidak mengetahui lokasi mana yang memiliki tempat kost dengan biaya terjangkau serta lokasi yang strategis. Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan sistem informasi rumah kost berbasis web. Metode pengembangan sistem perangkat lunak menggunakan model Linear Sequential/Waterfall Model. Dalam pembuatan web ini menggunakan PHP yang digunakan untuk membuat halaman website dan MySQL sebagai database tempat penyimpanan data. Hasil penelitian selain menampilkan informasi pemesanan rumah kost, tersedia juga fasilitas untuk melakukan perubahan data pemilik rumah kost. Melalui website ini pengunjung dapat melakukan pemesanan rumah kost, biaya sewa, fasilitas umum, informasi kamar dan informasi penting lainnya. Dalam pembuatan website pemesanan rumah kost ini menggunakan software Sublime Text untuk menulis kode program. Untuk proses pengujian website ini menggunakan metode Black Box testing. Hasil uji coba website menyatakan program berjalan sesuai alur yang diinginkan. The research objective is to produce a web-based boarding house information system. The software system development method uses the Linear Sequential / Waterfall Model.
