Abstract

The paper describes extensions of the work of the IUPAC Project Centres for Thermodynamic Tables and Transport Properties at Imperial College, London, to mixtures of fluids. The extension has been conducted in such a way as to make maximum use of the accurate representations of the properties of pure components developed over twenty-five years. A number of results are provided as illustrations of the benefit of this approach for a range of systems for which high accuracy in the prediction of mixture properties is important. © 1991, IUPAC
