Abstract

The authors regret that in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 in this article as originally published, the immunofluorescence photographs of MPO staining of the Sham operation group (Fig. 3A top panel) and the CD16 & Iba-1 staining of the Sham operation group (Fig. 4 left-top panel) were mistakenly picked and used during figure assembling and thus could NOT correctly represent the condition of inflammatory marker expressions in the uninjured brain. In the newly provided figures, the immunofluorescence photographs of MPO staining and the CD16 & Iba-1 staining of the Sham operation group are the correct ones. The figure captions and legends of these two figures remain the same as before. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
