Abstract
This article presents ideas on how to serve well the readers of an environmental impact document. It begins with a description of the characteristics and needs of an impact document's diverse potential readership. Then, given that readership, three topics are addressed: focus (what do you need to say); organization (where do you say it); and style (how do you say it). © IAIA 2006.
