Abstract

*[Ant communities were examined in linden-oak-hornbeam (Tilio-Carpinetum) and thermophilous oak forests (Potentillo albae-Quercetum) on the Mazovian Lowland. Their species composition and structure being defined on the basis of nest density stated by means of square searching method (10 m2 and 100 m2).]
