Abstract

The article presents a study regarding potted plants on flat roof as a strategy to reduce indoor temperature in Malaysian climate. Researchers are suggesting implementing green roof technology which integrates vegetation to reduce the impact of global warming. The study emphasized the experimental approach of the room with flat roof. It concludes that potted plants on flat roof had a great potential in reducing indoor temperature and could contribute to reduction of energy consumption.
