PERFORMAN PERTUMBUHAN SETEK JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia L.) PADA BERBAGAI SUMBER PENGATUR TUMBUH DAN MEDIA TANAM

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of various types of growth regulators (natural and synthetic) and growing medium on the growth of lime cuttings. This research was conducted in used a randomized block design. The treatment design consisted of two factors, namely growth regulators and planting medium. Each treatment was repeated 3 times and each experiment used 5 lime cuttings. Data were analyzed using F test and  Tukey test. Parameters observed were budding time, shoot height, number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots and root length. The results showed that the use of 150 ppm Rootone-F had a very significant effect on the number of shoots (2.29), leaves (16.50), roots (3.37) and root length (5.48 cm). And the use of top soil + burnt husk as planting medium had a significant effect only on the shoot height (7.06 cm).
