Abstract

The article presents intersectional perspectives in Physical Cultural Studies through the actions of the Research Group on Body, Physical Education, and Difference, supported by the principles of social justice. Utilizing a descriptive and qualitative methodology, based on experience reports, the text explores the initial contact with intersectional research in an international context and then addresses how social markers of difference (gender, race, class, among others) are understood in specific Brazilian contexts. The results highlight the relevance of intersectionality in understanding power dynamics and inequalities in physical education, offering analytical and practical possibilities for transforming the relationships between body, culture, and power.
