Abstract
From the findings of the research project “Relevance and social impact of legal research: the case of the Law program at the University of Antioquia, 1992-2009”, the aim of this paper is to reflect and talk about the need to evidence a set of indicators in order to measure the social impact of law research and socio-legal, conducted by teachers of the Faculty and registered in the University Research System, since in many cases, results that have high social impact get diluted, obscured or underestimated at the time of presenting the final research reports, or performing further studies on their social impact. This experience is performed at a micro level, with a view from the approach proposed by the University Social Responsibility (USR).
