Abstract
This paper shows the results of the implementation of a didactic unit to teach Newton’s laws through Active Learning Methodology in tenth-grade group sixth at Departmental La Esperanza School in Villavicencio. It followed the Action Research methodology based on its four fundamental pillars: planning, action, observation, and reflecting; a cyclic process that seeks from the interpretation of a social aspect to produce a positive change of social order. Furthermore, it was used the normalized gain statistic of Hake to evaluate the effectivity of this didactic unit. In order to do this, the results of the pretest and posttest were analyzed, and they showed that there was a conceptual learning gain or an average conceptual gain.
