The Application of Cloud Computing in College English Teaching

Abstract

In the era of Internet linking everything, education faces all-round multi-dimensional challenges and opportunities. In order to utilize the advantages of technology, college English educators should extend the traditional classroom aided by big data and Cloud computing in education. Cloud computing is emerging as a powerful computing paradigm with its aim of efficient resource utilization, providing a new solution for online English teaching and learning. With specific teaching targets of college English, the pre-class, in-class and after-class teaching phases aided by Cloud computing are presented, which aims to provide inspiration for educators, administrators and learners.
