Abstract

The bifacial PERC is widely concerned for its high device compatibility with conventional PERC manufacturing line and its power generation. In this paper, we have prepared bifacial cells with rear aluminum grid pattern, instead of the full-area Al rear layer. By optimizing the width of the Al grid and the rear silicon nitride film thickness, the electrical performances and EQE of front side has minor changes. However, the average efficiency of rear side increased from14.7% to 15.66%. And the best result with a bifaciality about 74% was obtained on p-type bifacial cells.
