Abstract

Currently the techno-symbolic-positivist paradigm of the fourth industrial revolution hypernormalizes our various forms of creativity. Its standardization and automation affect science, education and health through the use and appropriation of technology. The current health crisis has further evidenced the need to find flexible and resilient technological cognitive designs. A large body of scientific literature exposes the intense cognitive demands involved in performing music. His findings reveal that music education and music therapy are capable of providing alternatives to behavioral psychology or radical objectivism, revolutionizing the field of technological interactions in favor of health and well-being. Taking into account this scientific reality, this article presents an alternative assessment proposal built from the IMTAP method (The individualized Music Therapy Assessment Profile), thus addressing the current need to explore creative assessment approaches in the design of cognitive, creative technology. and expressive, proposing the proactive integration of professional music therapists and art therapists within the teams that design creative and expressive technological interactions and interfaces, in the search for a possible evaluative alternative that is respectful of education, health and well-being.
