Abstract

The following report outlines a clinical problem, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and the changes in manifestation throughout life. A primary focus is on the global differences of diagnostic symptomology between childhood 1 and adulthood 2 noted in the literature. Finally a critical evaluation is offered of the application of attachment theory to explain the development of the manifestations.
