Abstract

Nε-(Carboxymethyl)-L-lysine is easily obtained by reductive amination of glyoxylic acid with Nα-acetyl-L-lysine in the presence of a palladium catalyst and hydrogen. © Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart.
