The methyl chloroform is now on the list of substances regulated under the Montreal Protocol is one good reason for ICI CLeaning Technology launching a range of cold cleaning solvents. Called 'Evolve' and said to suitable for a variety of degreasing applications, the range is aimed at providing a readily available replacement for applications in which methyl chloroform has been used traditionally. The program aims to help ensure the environmentally responsible use of solvents within the industry, and the paper discusses its details.
