Abstract

The article discusses overall link of the oncology treatment and music with reference to Gian Andrea Lodovici, the greatest Italian producer of classical music, who was admitted at the Institute of Psychosynthesis, Firenze, Italy. It also statesn how Gian's psychological state improved after he was made a part of a musical project for inpatients. This led to start of Donatori di Musica, a network of professionals who organize regular concerts in oncology departments in Italy.
