Abstract

A seminar of Belorussia's foundry experts was held in November 1994. The foundry state and new development efforts were discussed. Equipment for toxic gas neutralization, impregnating aluminium castings, casting tunnel were reported. It was decided to raise the rate of manufacturing and putting into service new moulding equipment and to extend the application of stack moulding, to create shell casting shops for precise castings of grey high-strength iron to be made.
