Abstract

Trace element migration and structure evolution of biomass are highly significant in influencing biomass gasification performance, which varies to a certain extent during torrefaction. This review presents a substantial summary of the integrated process based on biomass classification to propose technological challenges and future directions in the contexts of economy and society.
