Abstract

Artificial intelligence is an interdisciplinary field that studies and develops systems and algorithms capable of simulating and enhancing human cognitive functions such as learning, reasoning, perception, communication, and creativity. Artificial intelligence has applications in various fields such as medicine, education, industry, transportation, security, art and entertainment. In this article, we aim to analyze how Artificial Intelligence can be used in the research process, both as a tool and as an object of study. We will present the main advantages and challenges of using AI in research, as well as some examples of relevant applications.
