Abstract

This paper makes a quantitative evaluation of reclamation data with remote sensing image data from 1980 to 2018, analyzes the main driving factors of reclamation in Guangxi Beibu gulf and tries to provide decision for integrated coastal zone management. (1) It indicates that the influence of human beings on the coastal zone continues to increase. (2) large-scale reclamation has the characteristics of the development stage of coastal economic and social policies. (3) The analysis of the spatial and temporal characteristics of the coastline based on GIS and RS reveals the impact of human activities on the coastal zone. The use of GIS and RS to detect the change of the coastline and analyze the driving factors will be helpful for China's ICZM decision-making.
