Abstract

The article focuses on a self-determination perspective to promote wellness among youth with Type 1 diabetes. It mentions that the self-determination theory plays an essential role in helping to determine the conditions imperative for growth; and also focuses on Recreate, Educate, and Climb Higher (REACH) program which allows youth with type I diabetes.
