Abstract
Presented are reports on new, different methods and materials used in corrosion prevention in the UK. These include stories on a heat exchanger refit, joint sealant for supertram track, innovative materials and valves to optimize integrity of Liverpool Bay instrumentation, electroplating capability designed to aid mobile communication technology, the latest example of coil packing technology and a solution to a manganese deposits problem at Hartlepool Water.
