Abstract
This study aims to describe the impact of utilizing Multisim software on students' cognitive ability, particularly in dynamic electricity. The population of this study was the whole students of the twelfth-grade natural science class (IPA) conducted in SMA Angkasa Pattimura Ambon, and the sample was twenty-four students randomly selected from the class of IPA-2. In this study, the questionnaire and test items were applied to support data collection, while data analysis was done using quantitative descriptive, which is strengthened by inferential. Moreover, the result shows that the whole students have mastered the concept of electricity. It is proven by the average TRA score of 83.9, which is good in qualification, while the result of the inferential analysis shows the positive effect of using Multisim software on students' cognitive abilities. Furthermore, the result of regression analysis shows a t-count value of 4.468 and a probability of 0.000 (p<0.05). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that using Multisim software affects the cognitive ability of electrical materials.
