Abstract

The article offers information on teacher's role in the life of trauma-affected children. Topics discussed include importance of role clarity for defining the scope and goals of teacher's relationships with students, and then maintaining boundaries that allow us to focus on that scope; students impacted by trauma struggles to clearly identify and respect the role of different adults in their lives; and discusses that group work can focus on relationship-building,.
