Abstract

The founding of this nation cannot be said to be easy because of the many sacrifices that have been made by the fighters.By having a strong determination, a high nationalist spirit and a spirit of hope for this nation to be independent. The nationalist spirit must continue to be maintained to honor the fighters who are willing to contribute their lives for the sake of the nation.. A nationalist concept from the ulama that succeeded in burning the enthusiasm of young people became a sign of the role of scholars for the independence of this nation. In the era of globalization, nationalist feelings are also needed in order to maintain the sustainability of this nation. Tolerance is also something that must be preserved to be able to live in harmony. This type of research is library research and qualitative approach, namely research conducted by analyzing written literature such as books,scientific journals as primary sources. This research approach is qualitative, namely research that emphasizes the analysis of pre-existing data.Then researchers use a descriptive method, which is a form of research aimed at describing existing phenomena, this study aims to revive the nationalist feelings of the younger generation by examining the concepts initiated by kh. Hashim ash'ari.
