Abstract

The article analyzes the differences between the ontology-oriented-subject (OOO) Graham Haraman and the new materialism of Jane Bennett as possible ontologies of posthumanism. Its aim, however, is above all to show how the difference between these two projects repeats the differences between the ontology of Kazimierz Twardowski, whose ontology oriented-on-subject perceives as his precursor, and the reism created by his student Tadeusz Kotarbiński - which could be considered a theory pre-emptive of the new materialism.
