Cartas do Cárcere: horizontes de resistência política

Abstract

Resumo O presente artigo apresenta os achados do projeto “Cartas do Cárcere”, fruto do acordo firmado entre o PNUD e a PUC-Rio, que analisou 8.818 cartas endereçadas às instituições públicas no ano de 2016, considerando as narrativas das pessoas privadas de liberdade como a principal chave de análise do sistema de justiça criminal brasileiro e da crítica às matrizes violentas do Estado.Abstract This article presents the findings of the “Prison Letters” project, as a result of the agreement signed between UNDP and PUC-Rio, which analyzed 8,818 letters addressed to public institutions in 2016, considering the narratives of persons deprived of their liberty as the main key of analysis of the Brazilian criminal justice system and of the criticism of the violent state foundations.
