Abstract
Electronic Medical Record (RME) in medicine is used to facilitate the recording of the patient's condition. The information system that contains the patient's medical records makes it easy to review the history of health care and treatment of patients by doctors and other medical personnel. The Internet of Things (IoT) teledentistry application facilitates the recording process of the data acquisition device until the data can be stored in RME so that it can be used to conduct telediagnosis and teleconsultation. Dental intraoral cameras are used as dental photo recording devices which can be used, among others, to facilitate diagnosis, consultation and documentation of patients. Thus an IoT-based teledentistry application can be developed by integrating a dental intraoral camera with an electronic medical record application. This study aims to develop a system that allows a doctor or nurse to take intraoral photographs of teeth that can automatically be stored directly in a centralized electronic medical record application. The photo recording device used in this study uses a dental intraoral camera that is available on the market and has an interface to be connected to a computer. The newly taken photo will be sent directly to the server where the electronic medical record application is installed. With this model the dentist will move images more quickly to the RME and thus the dentist can access the data of the patient that has just been treated with supplementary photos from anywhere.
