Abstract
The aims of development of the media as a learning tool Indonesian in descriptive writing in the eighth grade students of Junior High School 4 Malang. Development methods used by using multimedia development from William W. LeeDiana L. Owens that needs to be done in stages four stages, including (1) the analysis and assessment, (2) design, (3) the implementation and development, and (4) evaluation. Multimedia Learning tested on media expert by 1 person, 1 person as much matter experts, and 40 Class VIII students of Junior High School 4 Malang as the audience. Media expert trial obtained a percentage 85 % based on the results of eligibility criteria including qualifications valid media, material testing experts obtained a percentage of 85 % based on the eligibility criteria of this interactive learning media including a valid qualification. The trials of individual students obtained 86 % the percentage of conclusions based on the eligibility criteria include a valid qualification, test a small group of students obtained a percentage of 85 % based on the eligibility criteria of this media include a valid qualification, testing a large group of students obtained a percentage of 84 % based on the eligibility criteria including multimedia learning the qualification is valid.
