Abstract

Cu/turn/ studies is a st11dy of wlturc, the paradigm of'whic/z is quite different from that of the conventional (i.e. modern) studies. if we accept this view, it mealls that the whole problem of rnltural reality, epistemology, and methodology caruwt be used to llllderstand and investigate cultural studies and multiculturalis111. The infeasibility of using co11ventio11al study of culture to apprehend cult11ral studies and uwlticultumlism is related with the principle of inconzmensurability behveen those two fields, so there are differen t ,uorldviezus mid rules (langllnge games) between the two.
