Abstract
Hemolysin in the phytoflagellate Prymnesiumparvum was separated into six componentsby thin layer chromatography. The major component namedhemolysin I was isolated and identified as a mixture of 1'-O-octadecatetraenoyl-3'-O-(6-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-β-D-galactopyranosyl)- glycerol (1) and 1'-O-octadecapentaenoyl-3'-O-(6-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-β-D-galactopyranosyl)- glycerol (2). © 1981, Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.
