Abstract
We have been determined chlorine (Cl) spectra line as one of the most hazardous pesticide by using laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) with various concentration of sodium chloride in cacao (1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 10%). The experiment is carried out with a Nd-YAG laser system operating at a wavelength of 1064 nm, pulse energy is 150 μJ and various integration time are 10 ms, 50 ms and 80 ms. Based on the result, chlorine (Cl) line is detected at a wavelength of λ = 837,56 nm is enhancement slightly increasing with sodium chloride concentration in organic product. So, LIBS method is high potential for investigating of chlorine (Cl) residues in organic products.
