Abstract

Improve the patient's health status, equalize nursing services regardless of distance, time, and place. Reducing costs, monitoring the condition of patients who are discharged from the hospital, independent of patients and families, involving families in the care process, building interactive information systems to make it easier for patients to get self-care care. In the early stages, data collection and literature study were carried out. Then carried out application development, system documentation, system testing, application patent drafts, and research reports. Furthermore, integrated application development, system documentation, system testing, output of reputable international journals, and reporting of research results are carried out. The total population was 204, a sample of 135 respondents was obtained through the Slovin formula with an approach of 0, 05% with characteristics, namely all people who have Android and install the Ariga Tele-Nursing Self-care application. The data that has been collected is then processed and carried out by descriptive statistical tests. Researchers have obtained approval from the USU Nursing Health Research Ethics Commission and have obtained informed consent from each respondent. The research was conducted March - July 2020 at Asri Wound Care Pancing, Medan. The use of the Ariga Tele-Nursing Self-care application can improve the health status of wounded patients, equalizing nursing services regardless of distance, time, and place. Reducing costs, monitoring the condition of patients who are discharged from the hospital, independent of patients and families, involving families in the care process.
