Abstract
Patchouli oil is essential oil is a volatile oil (volatile oil) usually consists of organic compounds with alcohol, aldehyde, ketone and short chain. other than that also obtained terpenes which are hydrocarbon compounds that are insoluble in water. Essential oils are also known as etheric oils (aetheric oil), essential, or aromatic. An identification of the purity of patchouli oil by observation and analysis of the fluorescence spectrum has been identified. Observations were made for pure patchouli oil and patchouli oil that had been mixed (not pure). By comparing the two data, it can be distinguished oil that is still pure and not pure. In this study also can be determined the level of mixture on the patchouli oil.
