Abstract
There is some confusion over the identity of small forms of Ischnura occurring in South and East Asia and the Australo-Pacific region. Here, characters are given that separate Ischnura aurora (Brauer 1865) of the Australo-Pacific region from animals from the Asian mainland and nearby islands. Difficulties in attaching a name, or names, to Asian forms are considered. © 2010 The Royal Society ol New Zealand.
