Abstract
THE USING OF THE “KRAMA” JAVA LANGUAGE AS THE MAIN FONDATION OF EARLY CHILDREN'S MORAL DEVELOPMENT. Children moral needs to be built from an early age to develop optimally. Children's moral development will be closely related to habits that are formed in everyday life. It starts from the habit of behaving and speaking. As the Javanese proverb "Ajining dhiri saka lathi" which means self-esteem can be seen from speech, it is clear that language becomes a factor that will play a role in the moral development of children. This research is library research, which is a series of activities relating to the method of collecting library data, reading and recording and processing research materials. Familiarizing children with polite speech must be a primary awareness for parents. One of the foundations in the effort to build the moral development of early childhood is through Javanese manners. Javanese language is a language that possesses deep character values. Through refraction in Javanese language, children will be accustomed to respecting opponents, respecting older people, loving peers, and even respecting themselves from an early age. However, many parents feel afraid to train Javanese children to be polite to children for difficult reasons and are afraid of being wrong. The results in this study reveal that there are strategic ways that can be done by parents and even teachers in familiarizing the Javanese language of manners so that it can be realized as a foundation for the moral development of early childhood. The strategic way is through recognizing, observing, fixing, motivating, training early, and getting used to it every day.
