Because elections will result in the election of new leaders who will be elected through general elections, the role of political parties is to influence the state of the nation and its future. General elections that lead the nation to new leadership and government with the hope that citizens want the new government to improve all aspects of life is what is meant by democratization in national life. Therefore, changes in state and national policies must not eliminate the role of political parties as people's democratic parties with various ideological visions and missions.
