Abstract
Iron-deficiency anemia is a frequently disease in children of different age groups. The problems concerning deficiency of iron, iron-deficiency anemia in children, frequency, the pathogenesis are discussed during the article. Prophylaxis and treatment of iron-deficiency anemia are represented.
